The President of the Freedom Party Ilir Meta, who is in custody 313, is in a calm spiritual and psychological state, according to his lawyer Genc Gjokutaj.

In the Kjo Javë show, he stated that his only sadness is the way he was arrested.

"The footage that was broadcast of that execution, which is basically illegal kidnapping. After that, Meta was accompanied to the directorate of Tirana, where a record was drawn up that the execution of the decision was done in the directorate, since those who received it did not have an execution order. He was then sent to the security block, where he stayed until the court hearing on the security measure. After the hearing, he was taken to prison 312.

I last saw him yesterday. I have seen him twice a day since the ban. Meta is in a fairly calm spiritual and psychological state. Of course there is his boredom about the way of receiving contrary to all the procedures. He is dealing with the file documents. In the session of the verification of the execution of the measure in GJKKO, he spoke for 56 minutes, where he explained the insinuations that the court decision attributed to him in order to give his version" , said Gjokutaj.

Regarding the hints that there was an explosion from Meta in the security block, on the day when Gjokutaj was arrested, he said:

"Meta stayed in the security block, there is no question about the personnel. There was a moment when a lawyer was sent to him, he refused with disgust and of course loudly asked him to leave because he was not left without protection. There were no problems with the staff, they sent someone they didn't even know".

The lawyer has discovered that Meta gets food from outside in 313 because she cannot eat any kind of food because she is undergoing therapy.

"None of the inmates in 313 accept food from the inside. Food is sent to Meta from abroad. He consumes that food. Not prison food, because he also has some medicines. He cannot eat any kind of food as he follows a therapy related to blood pressure" , said Gjokutaj.

As for the safety of life, Gjokutaj said that he has not shown any such concern.

"There has been no concern of this nature. Even in the security block, the authorities have made it possible for there to be no conflicts. He has no claim either. Even in relation to the treatment by the administration, it was correct and rigorous" , he said.
