Great Britain will increase cooperation with our country in the joint fight against organized crime and illegal immigration.

Sky News writes that senior British officials will travel to Tirana for talks before Christmas.

The focus of this will be crime and illegal refugees.

The decision for the biggest commitment by the two countries comes after a successful operation in the summer of a joint task force in which hundreds of thousands of pounds and a significant amount of cocaine were seized.

The tax force was created in 2022 and targeted groups that laundered money derived from illegal activities such as drug trafficking.
