The Thumanë-Kashar Highway is expected to be completed on June 30, but the pass for vehicles will not be free.
For 21 kilometers of road, Albanians, but also foreigners who choose this route to travel, will pay no less than 2.1 euros.
The highway will have a maximum permitted speed of 130 kilometers, and will be completely closed.
However, once the government has it ready, it is expected to hand over to the concessionary, for the harvest of the passover tax. The concessionary has the right to assess the price at any time, and increase it if necessary.
Tthumanë-Kashar thus becomes the second toll axis in the country, after the Nation Road. Other toll roads are expected to be added to Albania, among them the Tirana-Durres highway.
