Over 1200 cannabis plants destroyed in Shkodra

Shkodra Police have destroyed over 1,200 cannabis plants in the administrative units of Shala, Pult and Postriba and in Shkrel in Malësia e Madhe.

A forest inspector and an environmental guard are under investigation for these cases.

"Work continues to identify, capture and bring to justice the perpetrators of the cultivation of these narcotic plants," the police announced.

This strike by Shkodra officers came as part of the "Coordinates" operation aimed at cracking down on attempts to cultivate cannabis.
