Ervis Martinaj's rival, Leonard Duka, will be extradited to Albania from Belgium. The two countries have reached an agreement on the Duke's extradition. He was arrested in May of this year in Belgium, after being declared an international wanted man.

The Duke was arrested in February 2023 in Belgium but had only been in custody for a few months, as there was still no agreement on his extradition.

But after the police mega-operation, "Metamorfoza 2", where the conversations in the "SKY ECC" app of crime bosses in Albania were revealed and several murders and attempted murders were revealed, Duka was declared wanted again and on May 18 he was put in handcuffs in Belgium.

The Duke is being tried in absentia for the murder of Santiago Malko, Ervis Martinaj's right-hand man. The Duka Group has been filed as a structured Albanian-German drug trafficking group.

He is also suspected of having collaborated in a plan to kill Ervis Martinaj, his former colleague in business and illegal activities, who has been reported missing for more than two years.
