The leader of SPAK , Arben Kraja, has been in the center of political and media attention in recent days, due to criticism from Prime Minister Rama. Arben Kraja today reported to the High Council of the Prosecution on the work of this institution.

Kraja was asked by the member of KLP,  Tartar Baze that you have arrested persons who were initially accused of being a structured criminal group and then ended up in abuse of office. Kraja said that it is important for SPAK prosecutors to evaluate the facts and evidence correctly.

" There is no such case we do not report to any institution on concrete issues, but since your question is theoretical I am answering find a case and I resign. There is no such case. I do not report on concrete issues even if they arise "If everyone stays inside and outside, there is no case. Go to ILD to verify concrete issues. We are not talking about concrete issues, you have other legal spaces ," said Arben Kraja.

Tartar Baze: Keni arrestuar persona qe fillimisht janë akuzuar për grup të strukturuar kriminal dhe më pas kanë përfunduar në shpërdorim detyre.

Arben Kraja: Nuk ka asnjë rast të tillë ne nuk raportojmë në asnjë institucion për çështje konkret, por meqë pyetja jote është teorike po përgjigjem me gjeni një rast dhe unë jap dorëheqjen. Nuk ka asnjë rast të tillë. Unë nuk raportoj për çështje konkrete edhe nëse dalin apo rrinë të gjithë brenda dhe jashtë, nuk ka asnjë rast. T’i drejtoheni ILD për të verifikuar çështjet konkrete. Ne nuk flasim për çështje konkrete, keni hapësira të tjera ligjore.

Nurihan Seiti: Ky është një raportim pune por raportim mekanik, pyetja e parë po shoh që keni zgjedhur 3 zotërinj dhe s.’ka asnjë zonjë.

Arben Kraja: Nuk i kam zgjedhur unë, i keni zgjedhur ju, nuk ka asnjë paragjykim për koleget prokurore, por në fund është kompetencë e drejtuesit t’i zgjedhë.

Nurihan Seiti: Ju nuk do vini më në raportime më si kryetar, në raport me intervistën e parë dhe sot pas dy vitesh cila është gjurma juaj që latë në këtë institucion?

Arben Kraja: Është e vështirë të vlerësosh veten, unë kam punuar me vullnet, ligjshmëri dhe transparencë. Pjesa tjetër u takon të tjerëve ta vlerësojnë.

Alfred Balla: A ka mosfunksionim mes jush dhe BKH?

Arben Kraja: Ne nuk kemi asnjë problem me BKH, ata janë të rinj po mësojnë dhe kanë dëshirë për të punuar. Ne kemi koncepte të ndryshme me drejtuesin e BKH për mosfunksionimin siç duhet të institucionit.

Arben Kraja seems to have "forgotten" the case of " Tahiri ", the former Minister of Interior who was arrested on 4 serious charges and ended up in abuse of office. 

We recall that the GJKKO sentenced Saimir Tahiri to 5 years in prison for 'Abuse of duty'. But with a shortened trial the sentence is reduced to 3 years and 4 months imprisonment. Tahiri was convicted only of "Abuse of Duty" by 'escaping' the charges of "Corruption of senior officials", "Trafficking in narcotics committed in collaboration" and "Structured criminal group".

In the arguments of the decision, the GJKKO Appeal underlined that Tahiri has connections with Moisi Habilaj and Artan Habilaj and these connections have influenced the criminal group to infiltrate the ranks of police and state employees and to prevent the fight against drug trafficking.
