The Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the First Instance for the former IT director of the state police, Ervin Muça.

Ervin Muça will follow the security measure of house arrest.

The former director of IT in the State Police has asked to be thoroughly investigated with the argument that he did not violate the law.

He even says that he has backed up the system, but not that he has received data from it.

He maintained the same attitude during the session, where he requested that the measure of "house arrest" be lifted and that he be investigated in a free state.

According to the prosecutor's office, Muca, in collaboration with other persons, on August 2 of last year, interfered in the State Police database by exporting unauthorized data.

During the investigation, the Prosecutor's Office concluded that these actions were carried out late at night.

In order to prove the intervention and the acquisition of data, the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has also asked for help from the SPAK laboratory, where the latter has confirmed the suspicions of its colleagues in Tirana.
