The head of urban traffic in Tirana, Taulant Gjoka, said that the driver of the Ring bus, which was involved in the mass accident this Monday morning, has been arrested. He is Agron Xhafa, 63 years old.

"We have the version, for us it is a violation of traffic rules by the bus driver, who was arrested by the police. The measure of arrest in flagrante delicto was imposed on the bus driver. So currently as we speak, he is suspected as the cause of the road accident. And there are reasonable suspicions of violations that are obvious. Then, the hypotheses that the violation of the rules came as a result of the physical pathology that he claims, or medical amnesia about which we are not aware, or as a result of another mistake...", said Gjoka in "Opinion" . 

10 vehicles were involved in an unusual accident this morning in Tirana. For reasons still unclear, the bus driver veered out of his lane, rear-ending several vehicles. The driver himself stated that he was not aware and that he does not remember how the incident happened.
