On April 29 of last year, a bus of the middle ring line, licensed by a company owned by Nadir Çaushollin , ended up in the middle of the Lana river. Fortunately, even though it was full of passengers, there were no serious injuries from the unusual accident.
Ten months later, another bus of this line was involved in a massive accident tens of meters away from the previous accident.
11 vehicles were involved in the accident, six people were injured, fortunately out of danger to life. Between these two most sensational accidents, several others were also registered, where the protagonists were again the Green Line buses of Nadir Chausholli .
In most cases, the blame is left on their drivers, but the truth lies elsewhere. Vox News spoke with a 58-year-old former Green Line bus driver for nearly a year. On condition of anonymity, he explains that the accidents are not the fault of the drivers.
'They are difficult buses to maneuver. They have problems with the steering, braking and gas intake systems. Problems occur when switching from battery supply to fuel supply, but it has often happened in other cases as well," says the 58-year-old.
He does not rule out the possibility of the driver's mistake in the case of the accident that happened this Monday in Shallvaret, but he puts his hand in the fire that the bus was to blame for the accident that happened in April last year.
'I know the driver who was driving it. Over 25 years as a truck, van and bus driver with no accidents. It may happen that he loses his concentration, collides with another vehicle, or goes out of the lane a little, but he ends up in Lana in that kind of religion, he doesn't care', he says.
According to the 58-year-old, the steering wheel of the bus was blocked in that accident. While among the causes of other accidents, he lists the long hours with which drivers work, the lack of frequent checks and repairs for vehicles, and road traffic.
