A road accident was recorded on the entrance road to Saranda, near the village of Metoq, where a woman was injured as a result of a collision between two vehicles.

According to preliminary information, the accident involved a "Volkswagen" vehicle, driven by citizen Dhimitra Harizi, and a "Toyota" vehicle, driven by citizen Sokrat Muço. As a result of the collision, the driver of the "Volkswagen" vehicle was injured and was immediately transported to the Emergency Department of Saranda Hospital for medical examinations.

It is reported that the injured woman is under the care of doctors, and her life is not reported to be in danger.

Police are at the scene and have launched investigations to clarify the causes and circumstances of this accident, while traffic in the area has continued with increased caution.
