A road accident occurred this morning, around 08:30, on the Fushë Krujë-Durrës national road, at the second kilometer from Fushë Kruja.

According to preliminary information, two vehicles left the road, ending up in a side ditch.

It is suspected that the cause of the accident was an attempt by one of the vehicles, driven by a woman, to overtake.

During the maneuver, the vehicle stalled, causing a collision between two vehicles, which then ended up in a canal. As a result of the accident, the driver of one vehicle and a passenger were injured.

Police and the investigation team are at the scene and are working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
