"8720 administrative measures", the Traffic Police of Tirana takes

The Tirana Traffic Police Station has taken stock of the week of February 12-18, 2024. In a press release, the police announced that during this week 8,720 administrative measures were imposed, divided into different categories such as black windows, speeding, not wearing a seat belt, not respecting white pedestrian crossings, and many others.

Also:

- 17 people were prosecuted for criminal offenses in traffic, in cases that include driving while intoxicated, without a driving license, under the influence of narcotics, violation of traffic rules, and active corruption.

-59 measures have been imposed for driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding violations, with the possibility of converting the fine to double the maximum.

-9 vehicles were blocked for various reasons, including unliquidated obligations and lack of documentation.

The Tirana Police Commissionerate calls for caution and responsibility on the road.
