The phenomenon of domestic violence, where the target of men remains their wife despite the strengthening of laws to prevent such a thing, seems to have risen to the top in Durrës.

In the last 24 hours, three violent husbands have been handcuffed by the police of the coastal city, after they showed their strength by "raising their hands" on their partners.

"Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Durrës Police Station arrested the citizen ZB, 55 years old, resident of Durrës, in the act, after he used violence against his wife, as well as during the escort to the Police Station, he opposed the Police employees. Citizen AH, 40 years old, a resident of Rrogozhinë, was arrested red-handed, after, contrary to the Court's decision, he entered the apartment where his wife lives and committed violence against his wife, who has a protection order. Citizen F. Xh., 59 years old, resident of Vadardhë, Sukth, was arrested in the act, after having physically abused his wife."
