The police of Saranda have prevented serious criminal events that would have been carried out with the remote-controlled explosion of explosives, putting two brothers in handcuffs.

During the search in their apartment, 5 tritol molds (2 of them programmed for remote detonation), 7 detonator capsules and military ammunition were found and seized, which were suspected to be used to commit serious criminal events.

A 26-year-old man who is suspected of being an accomplice in the preparation of explosive material was wanted and a 58-year-old man was prosecuted.

Earlier, during the recoded police operation "Knock Out 4", for the prevention of criminal events, the Police of Vlora seized 1 remote control mine, 5 firearms and military ammunition, as well as handcuffed their owner.

Immediate intervention by the Police, based on police intelligence, prevents serious criminal events that would be carried out by remote-controlled detonation of explosives.

The coded police operation "Knock Out 5", developed by the Sarandë Police Station, is finalized.

2 citizens (brothers) were arrested in the act, who kept explosives in their apartments, with the intention of selling them. 

A 26-year-old man is wanted, suspected of being an accomplice in the preparation of explosive material, which is suspected to be used by criminal groups.

A 58-year-old man is still at large, after a quantity of military ammunition was found in his apartment.  

Earlier, during the recoded police operation "Knock Out 4", for the prevention of criminal events, the Police of Vlora seized 1 remote control mine, 5 firearms and military ammunition, as well as handcuffed their owner.

Following the intensive work of the Police, to guarantee the rule of law throughout the country, to prevent criminal events, as well as to capture and bring before criminal responsibility, citizens who are a danger to public order and security, the services of the Commissariat of The Sarandë police, with the support of the information provided by the police intelligence, finalized the coded operation "Knock Out 5", as a result of which the citizens were arrested red-handed:

HO, 61 years old and HO, 56 years old (brothers), both residents of neighborhood no. 1, Saranda.

The Police Services, during the search in the apartment of these 2 citizens, found and seized 5 tritol caps (2 of them programmed for remote explosion), 7 detonator capsules and military ammunition, which were suspected to be used to carry out the events of serious criminal.

Following the investigative actions for this case, the citizen K. Ç., 26 years old, who is suspected of being an accomplice in the preparation of the explosive substance, was identified and declared wanted.

In addition, the procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a free state for the citizen L. Ç., 58 years old, since during the search in his apartment, the Police services found a quantity of combat ammunition, which was seized as evidence. material. 

In-depth investigative actions continue, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, to document the criminal activities of these citizens.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Sarandë, for further actions.
