A 52-year-old nurse in Pristina has become a mother for the first time.

The exciting news was shared on Facebook by the Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu.

"The 52-year-old nurse in Pristina becomes a mother for the first time at the "Koço Gliozheni" Maternity Hospital in Tirana

"Little Alea has won the battle for life, bringing indescribable joy to her mother and all the intensive care staff, who do a fantastic job with newborns, saving lives," writes the minister.

"First time mom. I feel very happy, beyond measure. I have no words to describe how happy I am. The road was long. The experience was very good. I am satisfied with the medical staff, the nursing staff, I am very very satisfied. It was a big challenge for both me and the baby, but we finally succeeded", said the mother excitedly.
