The 25-year-old patient, AD, who two days ago suffered burns to approximately 85% of her body surface area as a result of a fire in the hotel where she was staying on vacation, has left for specialized treatment in Turkey.

The costs of the patient's treatment in Turkey will be covered by the Albanian state, through the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.
The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare remains committed to guaranteeing the continuity of medical care and access to specialized treatment for cases requiring advanced intervention and expertise abroad.
