Located opposite the three islands of Ksamil, "Principotes", a luxury tourist facility, where 20-year-old Portuguese Miguel Mendes was found murdered this Tuesday morning, turns out to be registered under the name of a 71-year-old woman from Kukës, Kade Bulica, with a capital of 100 thousand lek.

The retired business woman is the mother of Bekim Bulica, a name that often appears in the dark chronicles, with a dark and problematic past. In the media, his name is also linked to drug trafficking in France.

In fact, his ties to France seem to be strong. The nightclub in the Principality has a French name, “La Guerre” (The War), and every Monday, according to reports on social media, “French Nights” are organized. Last night, a French DJ was invited.

Bekim Bulica lived in France, from where he was extradited in February 2021. According to the police announcement at the time, he "was declared internationally wanted after the Kukës Judicial District Court, with the criminal decision of 14.10.2019, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for committing the criminal offenses "Threat" and "Illegal possession of weapons and ammunition", in connection with the incident that occurred on 19.09.2019, in Kukës, where a gun was fired at the vehicle of citizen FC".

It is unclear what sentence Bulica received and how much time he spent in prison. But almost a year later, in January 2022, his mother registered the Tortuga Bay company, which would later take the name that the tourist structure in Ksamil now bears, “Principotes.”

In September 2023, Bekim Bulica's name will appear again in police records, involved in a violent incident in Tirana. Together with some of his family members and another person, they ambushed a police officer and his brother, then beat them with rubber batons. In a video of the violence, broadcast at the time, one of the victims of the violence could be heard saying "I'm in your hands, Bekim."

For the incident, the police at the time announced the arrest of 29-year-old Blerim Bulica, while Bekim and three other people who participated in the beating were said to have been declared wanted.

However, nothing seems to have stopped Bekim from continuing, under his mother's cover, his business in one of the most sought-after areas of the Albanian coast.
