The mother of the 22-year-old Kenyan, Joy, who was allegedly brutally raped and left to die near the building where she lived in Tirana, has come to the capital and rejected the police's claims that she may have committed suicide.

According to her mother, Joy was raped and then left near the building where she lived, calling on the police to investigate this incident.

" I didn't see anything strange, the only strange thing I saw was the girl's bed, so the girl lived on the second floor, but it wasn't high, because the police told me that maybe she tried to commit suicide or she might have accidentally fallen from window. No, I don't believe that. Because all she showed me that night was that she was quiet and was feeding in bed, and the food was scattered, someone who is going to commit suicide does not make a mess. That's for sure, I believe someone hurt him. Because nothing was taken from her house, not even mobile phones, the door was not broken, nothing like that ", she said, adding that she received the news that her daughter is in a coma from the company where the girl worked and emphasizes that she was satisfied.

The serious incident happened about two months ago, but it was passed in silence both by the police and the prosecutor's office. The 22-year-old Joy worked in a casino in the capital and lived in Albania since January 2022.

One night, she was found thrown behind the building where she lived, brutally raped with broken hip bones and three broken ribs as well as brain trauma.

The event is shrouded in mystery. However, her friends have already opened a "gofundme" where they seek to collect funds for her treatment abroad, as they show details of the serious event.

Joy did not give up on life, after two months of intubation, she can now breathe without the help of machines, but she needs intensive therapy as she cannot move or speak.
