Journalist Artan Hoxha narrated on ABC the phone call with Spartak Dyrmish, who was extradited to Greece without any legal procedure.
Hoxha said that when Dyrmishi handed himself over to the Vlora police, he received the assurance from the Police Director himself that he would not be extradited to Greece without his file first arriving.
According to Hoxha, Dyrmish was told that they would take him to Tirana, but in Levan the police van turned towards Gjirokastra and then to Kakavijë where he was handed over to the Greek authorities.
"Spartak Dyrmishi contacted me yesterday and told me the whole story. "Dyrmishi informed me that he surrendered in good faith, we will take them to Tirana, but when they arrived in Levan, the van returned to Gjirokastër, and they told him we will do a verification in Kakavijë," said Hoxha.
Hoxha also confessed that the Albanian police have committed another serious violation at the border, as they signed on behalf of Dyrmish, as if the latter was willingly returning to Greece. He called on the authorities to immediately start the investigation and bring to justice all the persons who violated the law.
"The policemen had the passport, and it crossed the Greek border after a policeman signed as if he was going to Greece willingly. The passport is signed by an officer of Albania. Officially, it appears as if Dyrmishi has entered Greece by himself, madness. He was handed over to the Greeks in handcuffs, the Greeks signed his entry again themselves," said Hoxha.
