A 29-year-old man lost his life this afternoon in the forest of the village of Fushë-Sopot, in Bulqizë, after allegedly being accidentally shot with a shotgun during a hunt. According to preliminary police information, at around 1:40 p.m., 44-year-old Bledian Firi, a resident of Tirana, allegedly fired a shotgun at a wild animal, but the bullet accidentally hit 29-year-old Elson Lala, a resident of the village of Strikçan.

As a result of the injuries sustained, the young man died at the scene. After the incident, Bledian Firi was escorted to the Bulqiza Police Station, while the hunting weapon, suspected of being used in the incident, was seized as material evidence.

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to document and fully clarify the circumstances of this tragedy.

 Bulqizë/Preliminary information

 At around 1:40 p.m., in the forest of the village of Fushë-Sopot, Bulqizë, citizen BF, 44 years old, resident of Tirana, is suspected of having inadvertently shot citizen EL, 29 years old, resident of the village of Strikçan, while hunting, while shooting a hunting rifle at a wild animal. As a result of the injuries sustained, he died at the scene.
