Toni Gogu went to meet Veliaj in prison to deliver Rama's

Former prosecutor Eugen Beci, invited to the "Prime" show on News24, commented on the visit of Justice Minister Toni Gogu to Fier prison, to meet the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

Beci says that a thorough criminal investigation should be launched into this case. He added that if Veliaj's statements are true, there should be criminal liability.

"A criminal investigation should be conducted into Toni Gogu's visit to Fier prison to meet Veliaj.

The Minister of Justice is the administrator of the prisoners, while the detainee is there because of the Prosecutor's Office. The investigation must resolve this, to understand why the minister went, Mayor Veliaj will be asked why Gogu was in that prison.

"If such a threatening conversation was made, as Veliaj states, someone must be held responsible," said Beci.
