Milan had turned into a "hornets' nest" in recent weeks where practically different factors within the club worked against each other.
These are the details that are increasingly appearing in the Italian media, where it is reported that the main clash was between Massimiliano Allegri and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with the parties coming close to a full-blown physical altercation.
The statement issued about two weeks ago by journalist Monika Colombo of "Corriere della Sera", who has been following the Rossoneri for many years and has reliable sources within the club in question, has been spread in the media today.
She revealed that the friendship between the coach and the former striker had broken down when the parties had physically clashed in a restaurant where Furlani and Tara were also present.
"The crisis between Allegri and Ibrahimovic, which has its roots far back in time, occurred in a restaurant in the presence of Furlani and Tara, with the latter being forced to physically separate the coach and the Swede," she said from reliable sources at the red and black club who reported on this situation.
"As far as I know, Ibrahimovic has not been seen in the dressing rooms at the stadium or club for three months, to get closer there needs to be a confrontation between him and Allegri that has never happened. The parties are not talking and continuing in this way is impossible. One of the points of conflict was for the third goalkeeper who should be placed in the team next season, but it was simply a pretext to revive the old tension.
When Allegri learned about the contacts Ibra had with Cassano, it didn't help.
"It didn't help that Ibra contacted Leao and Fofana, giving them different tactical advice than what the coach gave him in training," were Colombo's words that preceded the great chaos that erupted at Milan in recent days.
