After Karim Benzema's triumph in 2022, the Ballon d'Or will soon have a new winner. The ceremony will take place on October 30, 2023 and through its official channels, the Ballon d'or has revealed the names of 30 candidates: Manchester City of Haaland, winner of the treble, dominates, Argentina and Messi, world champion, are also well represented. The Argentine captain and Benzema are the only ones not playing in a European championship. Among the big exclusions is Cristiano Ronaldo, always present in the first 30 names from 2004 to 2022. The race seems to have two favorites: Messi and Haaland. Is the World Cup or Triplet worth more?
