On June 25, Sylvinho came to Tirana for the last time and left on the 27th for vacation, announcing that he would return in a week to discuss, of course, his contract. 

As of today (July 9), Sylvinho is officially no longer the coach of Albania, precisely on this date his contract has expired and he is on vacation with his family in Porto.

Sylvio Mendes Campo Junior (Sylvinho) refused on several occasions the issue of contract renewal on the eve of the European Championship, justifying himself with the preparation of the event, or the list of players. 

As for what will happen to him, the return of the President of the AFL, Armando Duka, from Germany, where the EURO 2024 European Championship is taking place, remains to be seen.
