Thomas Strakosha has completed the transfer to AEK and now only the formalization is missing. The Albanian goalkeeper arrived at the club's offices from Athens to sign the contract.

The media near the AEK club inform that everything is closed and the official announcement is expected in the next few hours.

At the Hellenic club, the red-and-black "keeper" will have more minutes available, something he missed in his adventure with the English Brentford in the Premier League.

The 29-year-old was part of Brentford from 2022, when he was transferred from Italians Lazio.

The Albanian goalkeeper returns to play in Greece, where he also started his career as a footballer, after being part of Panionio's youth team.
