The coach of the Albanian national team, Sylvinho, appeared at the usual press conference before the match between the reds and blacks against Gibraltar. The friendly meeting takes place on Thursday, September 4.

While touching on a number of issues at his conference, Sylvinho also focused on the case of Ardian Bajrami.

The young defender had an invitation from Albania, but he decided to play for Switzerland and now the reds and blacks are the past for him.

Sylvinho revealed more details about this case, which has brought harsh reactions from red and black fans who have openly come out against the player's choice.

"As for Adrian Bajrami. We had sent the player waiting list as early as August 17. From this time we have not had any announcement from the clubs", Sylvinho revealed.

"After the final list, there was no change. After a day, someone from the Federation informed me that Bajram had chosen Switzerland."

"I spoke to him on the phone for 30 minutes," he continued, without revealing the details of the call.

Then, the coach of the reds and blacks added: "I don't feel guilty for Bajram's departure. I try to do the best for the group."

"I remember two years ago, when a Brazilian was talking to an Albanian in Portuguese. We also talked about some tactical elements."
