Albania starts the "Euro U-17" championship with a heavy defeat
Albania U-17

The U17 European Championship kicked off this Monday in Albania, but for the red and black team, the start was not the desired one.

At the "National Arena", the boys led by Tedesco faced a strong Portugal that dominated the match and won with a clear score of 4-0.

The Portuguese started the match strongly and took the lead in the 36th minute through Quinta. Albania tried to react, but were very helpless against an organized and technical team.

In the second half, the difference in quality became more apparent. Mide scored the second goal from the penalty spot in the 68th minute, while Cabral in the 82nd and Soares in the 90+2 minute gave the Rossoneri the final blow.

Despite the disappointing result, this is an extraordinary opportunity for Albanian talents to face European football at high levels and show their potential in the eyes of international scouts, who have two more matches in Group A with Germany and France.
