Real Madrid started the new Champions League season with a victory, narrowly defeating Olympique Marseille 2-1.
The match started with an injury for Los Blancos, with Trent Alexander-Arnold leaving the game after just five minutes of play.
However, the first to take the lead were the guests from France in the 22nd minute of the match.
Mason Greenwood assisted Timothy Weah who scored beautifully for 0-1.
But the French lead didn't last more than seven minutes, with Kylian Mbappe equalising from the penalty spot. The first half ended in a 1-1 draw.
In the second half, the game was stronger, however Real Madrid was left with one player less in the 72nd minute. Dani Carvajal headbutted goalkeeper Rulli and was sent off with a straight red card.
In the 81st minute, Real Madrid won another penalty and again Kylian Mbappe scored from the penalty spot, this time for a 2-1 victory.
There were no more goals until the end and Real Madrid took full points at home.
