Aleksander Ceferin is confirmed at the head of UEFA for the next four years.
The Slovenian, who has held the post of UEFA president since 2016, today won his third term at the head of the European football governing body.
The 47th UEFA Congress brought together in Lisbon the presidents and general secretaries of UEFA's 55 member associations to take decisions that help shape European football.
Ceferin had no candidate facing him, so the vote for his re-election was a mere formality.
"I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support. This task is a great honor and responsibility. I want to promise them that I will do my best not to disappoint you and football", declared the 55-year-old.
