The sale of Milan by the Elliott fund to RedBird is under investigation. A special unit of the Guardia di Finanza has obtained documents at some of the offices, but not at the club's headquarters.

There are still no concrete names of the investigators. Italian media write that everything started after the complaint of a former minority shareholder, the Blue Skye company from Luxembourg.

This company had requested last September to the Civil Court of Milan to block the sale of Milan, but then they gave up after the sale was closed in August.

Blue Skye claimed to have received no information about this transaction as one of the interested parties. In this period, Italian football is going through a difficult period, where Juventus was punished by sports justice with the deduction of 15 points due to financial fraud.
