Turkey coach Vincenzo Montella highly praises Kosovo and says that his team faces a very difficult match on Tuesday evening at Fadil Vokrri.
"Kosovo is fully deserving of this Play-Off final. It has had an excellent qualifying phase with a lot of consistency. It has excellent players who respect tactical tasks. It is a very dangerous and fast team. It will be a difficult match, but of course it could not be otherwise because we are in a final", said Vincenzo Montella, coach of Turkey.
Team captain Hakan Calhanoglu acknowledged the great pressure Turkey faces ahead of this challenge, but stressed that they should never underestimate Kosovo.
"I am one of those who never underestimate opponents. I learned this lesson from Inter a month ago when Bodo Glimti eliminated us. Kosovo is a difficult and dangerous team. We have to respect them and do everything right on the field," said Calhanoglu.
Turkey has been absent from the World Cup since 2002 and will have a tough test against the Dardanians, who are living a dream.
"Everyone feels the pressure. This is a final. We haven't been there for 24 years, but most of our players weren't even born then. If we haven't been there for 24 years, it's not their fault. This time we want to go and we'll do our best for our country," he said.
The grand final of the play-off between Kosovo and Turkey takes place tomorrow at 20:45 at the "Fadil Vokrri" stadium.
