Turkish media: Scandal in Tirana, Albanians attacked Besiktas fans

News in Turkish media

The clash between Tirana and Besiktas fans at the start of the match is the headline of sports media in Turkey.

With exaggerated tones, the portal Yenicag calls what happened at the beginning of the match scandal, claiming that Turkish fans were attacked by tirana blues at the Air Albania Stadium.

"Scandal in Tirana, they attacked besiktas fans," the media wrote, saying pyrotechnic vehicles were thrown at them.

The Conference League game started with a 14-minute delay due to the clash. The referee ordered the withdrawal of the players until the situation calmed down.

There were also incidents when the stadium's speaker spoke Turkish, and was hissed by Albanian fans.
