Spectacle of colors and performances, the "Qatar 2022" ceremony in the photo
Before the inaugural Qatar-Ecuador match, the spectacular opening ceremony of the World Cup took place at the Al Bayt Stadium.
The World Cup started with a real spectacle where there were also recitations from the holy book of Muslims, the Qur'an.
Qatar used this ceremony to change the image of the Arab and Islamic world.
The Quranic verse that was recited, translated into Albanian, is this:
"O you people, verily We created you from a male and a female, We made you peoples and tribes so that you may know each other, and there is no doubt that in the sight of Allah, the most honest among you is the one who is most protected (the evils) of Allah is All-Knowing and All-Knowing of everything."
Beautiful!

In the last part of the ceremony, Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani spoke.
"We organize the World Cup. We worked hard to organize a successful tournament. We have made all our efforts for the good of humanity. Finally, the opening day, which we have all been waiting for, has arrived. For the next 28 days we will follow the great football festival in an environment of human and civic communication. People from many different countries will come to Qatar: it's good for people to share and celebrate diversity and what unites them. I wish all the teams to play great football, to live a time full of joy and excitement. Days that can inspire kindness and hope. Welcome and good luck to everyone."
