Dutch media reports that the former goalkeeper of the national team, Edwin van der Sar, is in a serious condition in hospital after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage during his vacation in Croatia.

The football legend was transported by helicopter to Amsterdam where he is in intensive care, as the next few hours are extremely important.

"Ajax has been informed in the last few hours that the former goalkeeper of the Dutch national team and the general director of the club from Amsterdam, who resigned from the club, is being treated by doctors. The first 24 hours are decisive in this type of attack", reads the reaction of the Ajax club.
