Inter has put him up for sale, Bologna surpasses Torino, midfielder approval
Kristjan Asllani

The future of midfielder Kristjan Asllani is an open and delicate issue for Inter, and it seems that a solution may finally be found. After much speculation and failed attempts to sell, the Albanian midfielder could finally head to Bologna. Recent developments show that contacts between the two clubs have been positive, but the player still needs to be convinced.

Asllani, a new opportunity

Inter and Bologna appear to have reached a good point in negotiations for the transfer of Kristjan Asllani with a final title. The move would represent not only a significant step for the player's career, but also a possible closure of a not-so-bright chapter at Pinetina. "Things are going well," say several sources close to both clubs. The agreement also provides for a percentage on future resale, and is a clear signal that both parties are working towards a favorable solution.

The rejection game

Asllani is no stranger to rejecting offers from interested clubs. Betis, Torino and Fiorentina were all keen on the midfielder, but he preferred to wait for an opportunity to really convince him. His preference? To stay in Italy and be part of a project that could perhaps offer him a European stage. And that's where Bologna comes in, which represents a stimulating challenge and could be the right one for him.

A life and career choice

Arriving at Inter in 2022, Asllani has never really managed to find his place in Inzaghi's team. Competition is also to blame, with a Calhanoglu in excellent form not leaving much space for the young Albanian. However, despite recording his best season with 39 appearances, 3 goals and as many assists, Inter have decided not to trust Asllani anymore and have thus put him up for sale.
