After the publication of the violent images recorded in the volleyball match Korça - Dinamo for girls up to U-18, where coach Romeo Xega was caught hitting a Korça volleyball player with a pole, the Albanian Volleyball Federation reacted immediately.

The Executive Committee of the AFHV, in its meeting today, after being familiar with the footage, stated that coach Romeo Xega has been the subject of the federation's Disciplinary Commission for his violent behavior on other occasions.

Based on the Code of Ethics and the internal regulations of the federation, the Executive Committee of the AFHV has decided to revoke the license of coach Romeo Xega, as well as the right to exercise and lead any type of activity in Albanian volleyball.

The Executive Committee decided:

- Mr. Romeo Xega's license of the Albanian Volleyball Federation is revoked and he is permanently excluded from the official right to practice, manage and train any type of team, part of the national and international activities of the ASF. The Albanian Volleyball Federation is consistent in strictly implementing and punishing anyone who breaks the Code of Ethics and Discipline and the Internal Regulation by denigrating the image of the sport and spoiling the image of the game of volleyball .
