The European Championship of Armenia/ Weightlifting disappointment, Qerimaj

Albanian weightlifting has suffered a noticeable drop in results compared to expectations in the last European Championship that is taking place in Armenia. The best ranked so far was Erkand Qerimaj, tenth place.

Weightlifters are contenders for this European medal as well, Briken Calja has failed in the first three tests of the breakaway style by not appearing in the other push style.

This figure is always decreasing for Albanian weightlifters who have a marked lack of generations and descendants of these two champions in the west.
