Despite starting the new season with a goal against Parma, just minutes after coming on as a substitute, Dusan Vlahovic looks set to leave Juventus in the final days of the transfer window. There has been concrete interest from Milan in Vlahovic, as the Serbian striker is Max Allegri's "preferred" target.
The agreement with Juventus could be reached for a figure between 20-25 million euros, knowing that Vlahovic's contract expires next year and he can leave as a free agent, but Milan's only problem is the player's high salary, around 12 million euros per season.
For this reason, Milan is considering other alternatives for attack.
As for Vlahovic, his new club could be Newcastle. The "Coals" have been looking for a new striker for days and after the failure of several targets such as Benjamin Sesko and some other names, they may be forced to make a "last-minute" move in attack.
Especially since the situation with their main striker, Alexander Isak, still remains complicated and the Swede has decided not to take the field again unless he is transferred to Liverpool.
