Conte left Tottenham
Antonio Conte

Antonio Conte left as Tottenham manager after 16 months. The English club announced on Sunday evening that an agreement had been reached between the two parties to end the collaboration.

The relations between the technician and the leaders of "Spers" were rather tense, after the Italian's outburst against the players, after the challenge against Southampton ended 3-3. Tottenham is in fourth place in the Premier League standings, with 2 points more than Newcastle, who have two games less.

"Spers" were eliminated in the round of 16 of the Champions League by Milan, as well as ending the competition in the FA Cup after facing Sheffield UTd.

The intention of the English team is to sign Julian Nagelsman, who was fired a few days ago by Bayern Munich. But the German is also wanted by Real Madrid as Carlo Ancelotti's future at "Los Blancos" is unclear.

But both clubs will have to pay the Bavarians compensation to firm up the German technician.
