Only three of the seven teams involved in the Conference League qualified. And yet, in the second round of the activity, 7 teams from all Albanian territories will play again.
Tirana, Dukagjin and Skopje, who secured further progress with the results on the field, are assigned 4 teams. Of them, three have been relegated from the Champions League.
It is about Partizan, Balkan and Struga, that after losing the matches in the most important activity, went down to the third tournament in terms of UEFA's importance. Meanwhile, Drita, the winner of the Cup in Kosovo, starts the international adventure from the second round.
The matches begin on July 25, with Partizan and Balkan playing against Atletic Eskalades from Andorra and Larne Northern Irish respectively. On July 26, Struga will take the field against the Montenegrins of Budučnost.
On July 27, the other 4 teams play. The most prestigious challenge is that of Tirana against the Turkish giants of Besiktas. Drita plays against the Czechs of Victoria Plzen, Dukagjini against the Croats of Rijeka, while Skopje plays against the Bulgarians of Levski Sofia.
On paper, the challenges are easier for the three teams that have been relegated from the Champions League and will follow the path of champions. On the other hand, the teams engaged from the beginning in the Conference League, with Tirana at the top, will look for a miracle to continue.
