Bayern Munich will have to do without Manuel Neuer in the return leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Inter.

The Germans were hoping to recover the veteran goalkeeper for the second match, but that did not happen.

The 39-year-old has not yet returned to training after physical problems and will be out for the match against Inter at San Siro.

Neuer will also be absent this weekend for the championship match against Heidenheim, while he is likely to return for the challenge against Mainz on April 26.

Jonas Urbig is expected to defend Bayern Munich's goal against Inter in Milan.

The Germans come into this match after a 2-1 home loss and will seek an upset at all costs.

The Inter-Bayern Munich match will take place on Wednesday, April 16 at 9:00 PM.
