Andrea Pirlo's adventure on Fatih Karagumruk's bench officially ends, 3 games before the end of the Turkish championship. The Italian coach and the Turkish club are actually parting ways before the end of the season, to plan their respective futures.
"Andrea Pirlo will no longer be our coach next season, so we have given him and his staff the option to leave immediately so they can plan for their future.
We are very happy to have spent a season with Andrea and thank him for his contribution to the club. We wish him the best for his future", - says the relevant announcement.
The former Juventus coach was relegated to the Turkish top flight on June 12, 2022, stabilizing in eighth place in the standings, after a complicated start.
He says goodbye to the Turkish club with this final balance: 36 official matches, 13 wins, 12 draws and 11 losses. His name is added to the long list of technicians who may embark on a new professional adventure this summer.
