Today's protest in the capital has escalated, with clashes and tensions between protesters and police.

Protesters have arrived on the National Martyrs Boulevard near the Prime Minister's Office, throwing stones at the officers.

As soon as they arrived, the police fired tear gas to remove them from the Presidency of the Assembly and the Prime Minister's Office, while the protesters responded with stones.

Despite water and tear gas, it is becoming impossible for the protesters to leave.
