The Socialist Party will hold an expanded meeting of the Socialist Parliamentary Group and the government cabinet on Wednesday. 

According to the message sent to socialist deputies, the meeting will take place at 12:30 at the Brigades Palace.

The meeting comes a few days after the approval in the Assembly of the new territorial map, which caused tensions and uprisings within the SP itself.

"Dear colleagues, I inform you that on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 12:30, we will hold an expanded meeting of the Parliamentary Group at the Brigades Palace.

"For this reason, on Monday, October 12, we will not hold the regular meeting of the Group," the message sent to MPs states.
