Early elections in six municipalities, DP gathers leadership

Although still without an official candidate, the Democratic Party is getting ready for the early election campaign on November 9th.

Preparations for the campaign will begin on Friday, initially with a meeting of the party leadership and the heads of the Democratic Party branches in Tirana.

These moves come at a time when three DP representatives have been holding meetings with the leaders of small opposition parties for a week.

In the decree signed yesterday, October 1, President Bajram Begaj set the date of November 9, 2025, for holding elections in the municipalities of Tirana, Berat, Tepelena, Vlora, Cerrik and Mat.
