The decree of the President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj , setting the date of partial local elections in six municipalities of the country has already been published in the Official Gazette.

In the decree signed yesterday, on October 1, President Begaj set the date of November 9, 2025, for holding elections in the municipalities of: Tirana, Berat, Tepelena, Vlora, Cerrik and Mat .

Publication in the Official Gazette makes the decree officially binding on the relevant institutions, paving the way for the Central Election Commission (CEC) to begin preparations for organizing the electoral process.
