The Chairman of the Euro-Atlantic Democrats Party, Lulzim Basha, has engaged the American company Sonoran Policy Group, LLC, for lobbying in the United States of America.
According to the document registered with the US Department of Justice under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), Basha is presented as an individual and not as a representative of a political party or foreign government.
The objective of this agreement is stated to be to raise awareness of Albania's challenges in the field of the rule of law, functional democracy and the protection of fundamental freedoms.
Most likely, the lobbying contract is for the May 11 elections.
Meanwhile, the Euro-Atlantic Coalition has registered with the CEC for the May 11 elections.
This political entity is the legal instrument by which the Euro-Atlantic Democrats, led by Lulzim Basha, will be represented in the elections.
