"Jealousy" of a Greek professor for Albania: Will he look to the west
Dimitris Christopoulos

Dimitris Christopoulos, Dean of Political Science at the "Panteion" University in Athens, commented on the relations between Albania and Greece, but also the rapprochement of our country with Turkey.

"Every time Albania looks at Turkey," he said in Mustafa Nano's "Arnautistan," it creates a distrust of the Greeks.

"For this, the most important question is what Albania will do: Will it look to the west or Turkey? A question that in a democracy like Albania belongs to the people.

Relations with Greece will turn into soft waters or storms. We have a very common future, not to develop a hegemonic relationship between Albania and Greece, but in the framework of a joint agreement to have solutions to the problems of the past. This is a good step we owe to this generation.

Relations with Turkey are logical, but create Albanian-Greek problems. "There is no responsibility only on one side, but also on the other," he commented.

According to him, Albania's contact with Turkey, in relation to Greece, creates relations that are not long-lasting.

Which Albanian in Greece is interested in Serbia? Will raise the child there. If he fails there, he will flee to England or America. Every Albanian wants what I want and I, as a Greek, want to find solutions to the problems we have had in the past. "We have managed to find a solution to the two problems that we have had for a long time," said Professor Dimitris Christopoulos.
