Veliaj on the situation in DP: They are like Big Brother, they specialize in

The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has commented on the situation within the Democratic Party and the debate about who the seal belongs to.

In an interview for Top News, he stated that what is happening today with the opposition resembles the format of Big Brother, where the DP specializes in getting people out of the party.

" I have the impression that they resemble that reality show due to the fact that according to the format of Big Brother, the opposition specializes in evicting people from the house. But if in Big Brother it happens for a game, in SKUP it happens for real. So, one half takes the other half out of the party, then they find the saboteurs, they find the collaborators with the Americans and the Anglo-American danger, then the traitors... in this sense, the situation is tragicomic," he said.

Veliaj, also as the political leader of the SP for the District of Tirana, underlined that he will not deal with the accounts of the opposition, but with those of his team in order to do more work.

" The last time I said it jokingly, but I believe that it is really tragicomic, where their biggest focus is who we will take out of the house and not who we will put in the house. However, in this type of work, I have learned to never take account of others, but to take account of the team, our work, and our contact with people. I am not here to give advice to anyone, including the opponents" , said the head of the Municipality of Tirana.
