The political leaders of the Socialist Party for the District of Tirana, the mayor of the Municipality of Tirana, Erion Veliaj and the speaker of the Assembly of Albania, Elisa Spiropali , started today a quick tour throughout the district, to meet with the socialist members of Kamza , Vora, Kavaja and Rrogozhina, as preparation for the 2025 elections.

In the meeting with the structures of the SP in Kamze, which was also attended by the deputy of the SP, Lindita Nikolla and the mayor of the Municipality of Kamze, Rakip Suli, Veliaj said that with Edi Rama and the Socialist Party, Albania is closer than ever to the European family.

"We must raise the flag of the Republic of Albania in the courtyard of the European Union. Oh we are close today, oh we have never been before! This is the reason why we need this fourth mandate, to bring Albania into the European family, as the aspiration of hundreds of years, but it is our destiny, of this team, of the SP and Edi Rama, to fulfill this mission. It is obvious the political decision for Albania to separate itself from others in the region, as the country that is moving faster, that is fulfilling more reforms, and is more ready to become a new member of the EU. This means that with Edi Rama and the Socialist Party, Albania's head has been raised. Today the passport of Albania is worth more, the anthem and the flag of Albania are more respected, today Albanians are treated everywhere with more consideration", he said.

The Speaker of the Assembly of Albania, Elisa Spiropali said: "We will speak for ourselves, our work must speak for us and I look forward to working with each of you, in all the polling stations, to give a victory to the SP , Edi Ramës, in the Municipality of Kamza, in the Municipality of Kavaja, in the Municipality of Rrogozhina, in the Municipality of Vora, definitely in the Municipality of Tirana, where Erioni and Ogerta are working together, and everywhere else in our Albania, which in 2030 must be a member of the European Union and cannot be held hostage by anyone and for any reason".

Meanwhile, Veliaj underlined that the ambition for the next mandate of the SP is the biggest increase in pensions and salaries of Albanians.

"I strongly believe in the ambition that the prime minister laid out in the Assembly and in Congress, - but especially the working groups, which have already started all the analyzes and concrete proposals, - that this is the mandate for the largest ever increase in pensions and salaries. This mandate, this victory, let's translate it all not as a victory for the anger of the other, but as a victory to massively increase pensions for our grandparents and parents. This is the mission! Increasing salaries and pensions is the best way to translate all this idealism, all this passion, this rapprochement with Europe", he said.

Further, Veliaj also stopped at the vote of the diaspora, as he asked the structures for an even greater commitment to ensure their support.

"The third message is about the vote of immigrants. We have the potential for a second Socialist Party, for a team like this, second, living abroad. In fact, the philosophy should not be to go out and find them where they vote. The philosophy must be quite different. To find all our families, our cousins, our neighbors, our cousins ​​in each of our organizations, knowing that they are registered, and finding them from here, to encourage them that, when the CEC window opens for registration of immigrants, we who are there will have to know how much our victory will be", declared Veliaj.

Veliaj and Spiropali also held meetings with the socialist structures of Vora, Rrogozhina and Kavaja.
